RUST CONVERTER Stabilizer 125 ml
RUST CONVERTER - COATING-AGENT FOR RUST
RUST CONVERTER is a coating agent for stabilizing and protecting rusty surfaces of iron and steel.
Properties:
Unprotected iron and steel surfaces are susceptible to air moisture and oxygen. A layer of oxide begins to form on them. RUST CONVERTER stops the formation of oxides in the initial phase by creating a protective black reaction layer. This also prevents further corrosion under the protective film.
The dry protective film is resistant to scratching and with two applications can provide sufficient protection even without additional varnishing.
RUST CONVERTER also neutralizes hard-to-remove rust and allows for good adhesion for the top layer of coating. Therefore, it is ideal as a quick means for anti-corrosion protection before final varnishing.
RUST CONVERTER is non-toxic and does not contain heavy metals. The consumption is relatively low.
Method of use:
Remove flaky rust with a wire brush or sandpaper. Apply RUST CONVERTER to a dry, degreased surface with a brush, roller, or spray gun. For heavy rust, two applications are recommended. After 20 minutes, RUST CONVERTER is dust dry and non-sticky. Optimal protection is achieved after 18-24 hours.
Brushes, rollers, and other tools can be washed with clean water while the film is still wet.
